Go down death!
You’ll have no more of me
One slight moment is all you had of me
From your chains I’ve been set free
Fall’n from my hands and feet, I see
Chains, lying in dust, that once bound me
No more pow’r have you o’er me
I take my flight to Jesus’ breast
Here I find eternal rest
Among The Faithful, The Loved, The Blessed
I’ve run the race and past the test
Go down death!
