Oh, the love, so boundless, free!

Shed upon our hearts by Thee

So undeserved, but freely given

By You, our Lord, who dwells in Heaven

Oh, the rapture! Noblest mirth!

We came to know at second birth

The grace that came to our hearts that day

No one, and nothing, can steal away

My heart o’er flows with love for Thee

Because the love you gave to me

Was undeserved, yet freely given

but you, my God, who dwells in Heaven.
