Pakistan is an Islamic country ruled by the Islamic law. Christians of Pakistan make a quite sizable population, with more than ten million souls. But they have to face religious intolerance and oppression.

Christians, ever since the creation of Pakistan (1947), have remained less privileged, and thus backward. In respect of their religious-political and socioeconomic rights, they are considered citizens of lower grade. The financial conditions of the Christians are very low.

The main professions adopted by Christians are donkey cart driving, sweeping, sewerage man, daily wage labors, to make mud bricks etc.

There are near about 30,000 Christians in the area where Jesus Evangelism's office exists. One average Christian family has 5 children.
